Monetising with News

Here is a video I came across on TheNewsRoom which is quite interesting. It is a short piece on a once anonymous blogger Daniel Lyons, a senior editor at Forbes magazine who assumed the persona of Steve Jobs, Apple’s chief executive.

TheNewsRoom is a news site that gives you access to an array of fully licensed news stories that can be published onto sites. They have a collection of video, text and photos from over 175 news sources. What’s great about it is that you get paid when readers view videos or draw upon text and/or images.

There are a few sites out there that have YouTube videos and the likes embedded into them. They don’t get paid when viewers play the videos. TheNewsRoom may have content suitable for your site that you can earn revenue from.

Payments are currently sent via cheque but they will be incorporating PayPal soon. Payments are made on a monthly basis, provided you have accumulated a balance of $50.00 or more.

I like The News Room…I had been using it for a while on my site but ran into a little trouble with formatting…I think I’ll give it another try though soon…has it been smooth for you?
