Rent Books Online at BookSwim and Save

I just came across a great way through which people who love reading can save themselves some money and still read the books they want to read by renting them instead of buying them. With BookSwim you can do just that. Once you have signed up, you add the books you want to read to a “Rental Pool” and they will send out the first available books from your queue. The books are shipped to you for free and you don’t have to rush to complete them because they let you keep the books for as long as you want without any penalties. You do of course still have to be a member. When you are done with the books you simply mail them back in the postage paid return mailer that they provide you with.

BookSwim - How It Works

Their plans allow you to rent 3-11 books per month with the monthly fees ranging from $19.98 to $39.94. They do have introductory offers for the first month starting at $9.95. You are not locked into any sort of contract and can cancel at anytime. Another great thing about BookSwim is that if there is a certain book that you could read over and over again and just have to have a copy of, you can purchase the book from them at a discounted price.

They claim to stock everything from the hottest hardcovers to paperbacks available and hard to find titles so they are bound to have something for everyone. If they don’t have a book you would like to rent in their catalog, you can request it and they will do their best to source it for you.

That’s pretty cool. They have an affiliate program too through ShareASale. When I was an over the road truck driver had a books on tape membership that was very similar. It would be a cool idea to setup something like that with ebooks. Perhaps allow members to read the ebooks on the site or download one chapter at a time.
