WidgetBucks

This is a relatively new way of monetising your site. WidgetBucks have rich media ad widgets that display ads from various merchants. You earn money each time someone clicks on the ad widgets.

You can choose to have the widgets on your site displaying ads from certain product groups or you can choose the MerchSense option which runs ads that are relevant to your sites content and demographics. If you are wondering whether or not you can run WidgetBucks alongside Google Adsense and other ad systems the answer is yes. WidgetBucks can be run alongside all other ad systems.

Sign up is quick and easy and there is a $25 sign-up bonus which gets you half way to the payout minimum of $50. They also have an affiliate program where for a twelve month period you earn a 10% referral fee based on the commissions earned by the people you refer.

Give it a try and see how well it compares to other ad systems.

Hello, nice post you have here. I would like to add some comments about WidgetBucks.

I did a test one day to see who really made me the most money on my proxy, adsense or WidgetBucks. My results were quite amazing as widgetbucks made 3x the amount adsense did in one day.

WidgetBucks seems like an EXCELLENT way to make money online but I do not think it is for blogs. I htink this because every ad you have on your page of widgetbucks it slows down the speed of the website which could be quite unattractive to readers. Happy Blogging!

    Hi Russell,

Thank you very much for your input on WidgetBucks. A lot of people do seem to be happy with the program. I have seen it up on a number of blogs. You mentioned that you did not think it was for blogs. I almost agree with you there because on a number of them it does not seem to be a good fit. But, there are a couple that do product reviews on electronics and the likes and it seemed to fit in well.

And about it slowing down the speed of a site, I am sure you saw the email that WidgetBucks sent out today addressing this issue and saying they have not fixed it. We will just have to wait and see if it has been fixed.

Can you come up with a review of your WidgetBucks experience in due course? I would like to learn your experiences. I am also running this widget.
